There are now 4 additional languages supported in our message translation feature. These languages are: Somali, Hebrew, Nepali, Arabic.
We now support right to left languages as well as left to right. Arabic and Hebrew are right to left languages.
New Compose Bar
We are introducing a new toolbar for composing messages to replace the existing “+” menu throughout the application.
The “+” will be replaced with a persistent toolbar that contains all of the existing icons. The to/from channel indicator is moved to the same line as the new toolbar.
Upon hovering, the icons will change color from grey to blue and will display the title of each icon.
These changes will apply to mobile and desktop versions of the app. (The hover function only applies in the desktop version).
This will update the following areas of the product:
Message
RhinoSecure
Note
Internal chat - group and direct
RhinoBlast modals
Variable Update
Variables in templates - if a contact has no first name or last name, we currently populate the body of the message with “null”. Instead of “null”, we will use a blank space. EG: “Hi , how are you today?” rather than ”Hi null, how are you today?”
This logic is applied to Preferred name also. If no preferred name or first name, then it will be a blank space.
