Enhancements

Accessibility and Compliance

We are adding a new tool to Rhinogram to ensure ADA & WCAG Compliance. This tool will be accessed by clicking on the new Accessibility icon in the left hand menu on both mobile and desktop. This will open up a series of options to customize the experience while using the system based on the individual needs of the user.

You can read more about this new Accessibility tool here.

*This section does not apply to topsOrtho users*

RhinoForms Manager Enhancements

We have added a series of improvements to RhinoForms manager to make it easier and more efficient to filter the page, view the completed forms, and follow up with patients that have not yet completed forms.

The improvements include:

  1. Added a new filter to allow the user to filter the page by selected forms.

  2. Added a new column to indicate when a form has been sent to the EHR/PMS. (This is available only for integrations where document write back is supported.)

  3. Added the ability to view the completed form by clicking on the form, rather than having to leave the RhinoForms manager.

  4. Added the ability to select the contacts on the page either individually or in bulk

  5. Added the ability to message the selected contacts using RhinoBlast.

Integrations

Saved Content -  Send to the EHR/PMS

Rhinogram has made it more efficient to send saved content to the EHR/PMS. When selecting and saving content, there will now be an option to send the document directly to the patient’s chart in the EHR, in addition to saving it in the patient’s library.

After clicking “Select Content”, the save content box will appear at the bottom of the screen. Once visible the user will simply need to:

  • Select the new checkbox to send to the contact’s EHR

    • The checkbox will only appear if the organization is integrated and document write back is supported.

  • Once the checkbox is checked, and saved, the document will be sent to the EHR and saved to the library of the contact.

Once the content has been sent to the EHR:

  • The library will update with the sent to EHR timestamp and will show what member sent the content and the timestamp.

  • In the conversation thread, there will be an event added with the member’s name and the time that the document was sent to the EHR

EPIC Document Write-back

Rhinogram users integrated with the EPIC system can now write-back documents, such as completed RhinoForms and saved content, directly to EPIC. (See section above).

EPIC Appointment Status Write-back

Rhinogram users integrated with the EPIC system will have the ability to have appointment status updates write-back to EPIC directly. Click here to read about setting up Automated Appointment Reminders with codified response variables.
