Notification Preferences

 A. Sound Notification  ( Beta )

Sound Notification is in a Beta period  and will only be available for Beta users initially

Users now have a way to manage their sound notifications for incoming messages.  If the feature is enabled for the organization.

A few key things to note :

  • The notification preferences that the user has checked will apply not just to notifications but to sounds also.

  • If the checkbox is not selected, then there will be no notification and no sound.

  • If checked, then the notification will appear and the sound will play .

Please contact your Rhinogram CCR to enable this feature for your organization.

 B. Badge Count Notification ( Beta )

Badge Count Notification is in Beta period  and will only be available for Beta users initially

Users will now have the  ability to turn off their notification badge counts for the different sections of their Rhinogram inbox.

  • If  badge count is enabled for an organization, members of that organization will see the badge count preferences toggle on their Member Preferences page. If it’s not toggled on for an organization members will not see it.

  • Members will need to go into their Settings / Preferences to enable this feature if they wish to manage which inbox they receive notifications badge count notifications for.

This means that if they turn off notifications for the Front Desk inbox as an example, they will never see a badge count on that inbox. If they turn off mobile notifications for an inbox, we will also hide the badge counts for that inbox on their mobile device. If a member turns on the notifications for an inbox they will receive badge counts for that inbox again.

Cloning Existing RhinoForms

Rhinogram has created the ability to allow customers to clone forms that they have created in Rhinogram.

Let’s walk through step by step on how to clone existing RhinoForms

  1. Members with form edit permission can now see the Clone Form button in the Form Summary Panel.

  1. When he/she clicks the clone form button then an exact replica of form will be created. If we clone the form with title Test then the clone form title will be Test_cloned.

All the cloned forms will be created in draft state so that members can edit the title and the form field before publishing the form.

RhinoCalls ( Beta )

Rhinocall will go through a Beta period  and will only be available for Beta users initially . Please let our Rhinogram Success team know if you would like to be a part of this Beta program.

Great News ! Rhinogram has expanded our ability to connect practices with their patients by adding voice calling capabilities.

It is now possible to:

  1. Make a call from Rhinogram on a web browser

  2. Make a call from the Rhinogram mobile application

Things to keep in mind :

  • Only members with the permission will have the ability to make an outbound phone call.

  • Available on desktop, mobile site, and the app

  • Users will be making calls utilizing only the phone numbers that Rhinogram has provided  to the organization. It is not currently possible to make calls from existing landline numbers through Rhinogram.

  • All calls will be logged as an event in the patient thread and audit logged

  • Rhinocall will be an add-on feature that must be enabled by a CCR for an organization.

Here’s how it will work :

  1. You will select your patient , Then click  Call Now

  1. Once  Call Now  has been  selected, you will see a pop out window of the number requested to dial. If there are multiple numbers listed on the account ,  he/ she  can choose which number they  would like to dial from the drop down menu . It is also possible to select the ‘From’ number, if the organization has multiple phone numbers capable of making outbound calls. Once the appropriate numbers have been  selected click call.

  1. When the patient answers the call, the call will show as connected .

Please reach out to Rhinogram Success if you would like to be a part of this BETA program or to learn more about Rhinocall.

Appointment Reminder Update

The new enhancement will allow for only one appointment reminder to be sent to a patient per calendar day, if the patient has more than one appointment in a day. To enable this feature, please reach out to your Success representative. If not enabled, then we will continue to send a reminder message about every appointment for the patient.

Here’s how it will work :

  1. When this feature is enabled (by the Rhinogram Success team), patients will only receive one appointment reminder per calendar day even if they have multiple appointments in a single day.

  2. The system will find the earliest appointment for a patient and will only send a reminder for the earliest appointment and ignore all others.

  3. If the patient confirms the appointment using a codified response of ‘1’ then all appointments on that day will be marked as confirmed within Rhinogram.

Message Delivery Improvements

We have made enhancements to how we deliver outgoing messages to ensure that we adhere to message throttling limits and reduce the amount of message failures that occur when a large volume of messages are sent in a short period of time.
