Can I delete a contact?
Yes, contacts can be deleted under certain circumstances. Because we ensure all conversations are permanently logged within Rhinogram, any conversation started with a contact prevents that contact from being deleted. This does apply for all contacts such as a patient, other and an unknown.
Do thread actions count as starting a conversation?
Yes, therefore if you complete an action for the contact that creates a thread event the contact can not be deleted. An example of this would be if you mark HIPAA consent granted or denied, this creates a permanent thread action preventing you from also deleting the contact.
How do I delete a contact?
If there is no conversation or thread event within the conversation, you will be able to delete the contact. Below is an example of what that would look like.
Once you have established that there is no history, navigate over to the profile summary and scroll all the way to the bottom to see "Delete Contact."
Note: The Delete Contact button will not appear unless the contact is able to be deleted.
