In order for messages sent through your Business' Facebook Ads to be received in Rhinogram, you'll need to make sure you configure your Facebook account appropriately. The following instructions will show you what settings need to be selected in Facebook Page Manager in order to facilitate this. You must be an Administrator of your Facebook Business Page in order to adjust these settings.


This step must be done AFTER you setup the Rhinogram integration with your Business Page. To learn how to do that, click here. 


Step 1: Login to Facebook


Step 2: Navigate to Messenger Platform Settings


First, you'll need to select your business page that you have connected to Rhinogram and navigate to settings in the upper right corner of the page as shown below.



Once in Settings, navigate to Messenger Platform on your left side navigation bar.



Step 3: Configure Messenger Platform Settings 


Once in the Messenger Platform Settings area, scroll down on the page until you reach connected apps.

Here you will see a list of any connected applications you have added to your business page. You should see Rhinogram listed as "Rhinogram Messenger API." If you do not see that option, please navigate back to Rhinogram and ensure you have successfully integrated your Facebook account


In order for Rhinogram to work appropriately, select Configure to ensure Rhinogram is the primary receiver of your messages. 


After selecting configure, you will open up your application settings as seen below.

Because the goal is for Rhinogram to be your Primary Receiver for your messages, select Rhino Messenger API in the drop down menu. If this is already selected, you are good to go!


By selecting this option, you are ensuring that the Rhinogram integration will receive messages sent into your Facebook account.


You have now successfully configured your Facebook account to support the Rhinogram integration!
