What is Forwarding?

All messages have a default route based on the Channel in use. Forwarding is a way to circumvent that routing for a particular patient. For example, if you have a specific patient who's messages you'd like to route to one specific team member regardless of the channel they're using, then you could use forwarding to assign that new route for the patient. To accomplish that you'd navigate to the patient's profile, click edit and scroll down until you find the Forwarding section. Then, slide the toggle to enable forwarding and choose the new destination for all of that patient's messages. You can choose a member or a group. After you enable forwarding all messages coming from that patient into Rhinogram (regardless of channel, phone number, etc..) will go to the new destination.

Where can I view if a patient’s messages are actively Forwarding?

You may view it in the Contact Profile. Simply navigate to Contacts in the left navigation bar or search for the patients using the global search tool indicated by the magnifying glass icon at the top of the page to locate the patient. Once you have selected the correct patient click Edit on their profile and scroll down to the Forwarding section. Here you'll be able to see if this patient's messages are currently being forwarded as well as change or disable forwarding if you like.
