What are tags?
Tags are unique identifiers that can be added to Contacts, Members, Channels, and Groups. Tagging helps with sorting, filtering, and segmenting within Rhinogram. They are sorted by location, department, role, along with a custom tag as well, to help organize all of your components in Rhinogram.
When you’re setting up your configuration in Rhinogram for your organization, please note that you should set up your tags before anything else.
For Location - create a location tag for every physical location an organization has (ex. Team Message Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis)
For Department - create a department tag for every department within an organization (ex. Pediatrics, OBGYN, Oncology)
For Role - create a role tag for every role within an organization (ex. Nurse, Doctor, Billing, Front-Desk)
For Custom - create a custom tag for miscellaneous categories not covered in the three options above (ex. fourth floor, night shift, emergency)
Also, it’s important to add tags throughout set-up as you add Members, Groups, Channels, and Contacts. While there isn't a lot of functionality available using tags today, Rhinogram will be introducing reporting and list filtering capabilities with tags in the future and we want you to be prepared.
