Great News!

Rhinogram would like to introduce an exciting new feature RhinoCall. With this enhancement it has expanded our ability to connect practices with their patients by adding voice calling capabilities.

It is now possible to:

  1. Make a call from Rhinogram on a web browser

  2. Make a call from the Rhinogram mobile application

Things to keep in mind :

  • The power of RhinoCalls is the ability to make calls from your cell phone or PC, displaying your office number on the patient's end.
  • Users may select which Audio Input/Output to use from their device
  • This feature is available on the desktop, mobile site, and the app
  • All calls will be logged as an event in the patient thread and audit log
  • Either existing landlines or a new channel can be enabled
  • RhinoCall will be an add-on feature that must be enabled by a Rhinogram CCR for your organization.
  • Only members with the permission will have the ability to make an outbound phone call.
  • Members can use the keypad to input extensions.

Here’s how it will work :

  1. You will select your patient , then click  Call Now

  2. Once  Call Now has been selected, a pop out window will display with the number requested to dial. If there are multiple numbers listed on the account , he/ she can choose which number they would like to dial from the drop down menu. It's also possible to select the ‘From’ number, if the organization has multiple phone numbers capable of making outbound calls.

  3. Once the appropriate numbers have been  selected click call.

4 . The user may also select which Audio Input/Output to use from their device.

                                                                    .

4. When the patient answers the call, the display will show as connected.

Call Forwarding :

You can also place an outgoing call from the member's device to a designated Bandwidth number .

  • In the Rhinogram app, members will be able to enter what they would like the callback number to be in the “Your Phone Number” field.

  • The call will be actually made from the number in the “From” field but will display as the number in the “Your Phone Number” field.

Default Number Format Issue :

On the Rhinogram mobile application, in order to improve unnecessary connections, members will not be able to make a call if the “Your Mobile Number” field is blank or in an incorrect format.

  • If Your Mobile Number is filled in with what looks like a correct number, then “call” will be clickable and change to green.

  • If Your Mobile Number is blank, then the “call” option will be grayed out.

Capturing Call Status :

When a call is ended, members  will see a small window with a dropdown to capture a quick log action.

If “Submit” is selected, Rhinogram will collect one of the below actions when selected:

  • Connected

  • Left Voice Message

  • No Answer

Rhinogram now has a new version of the app available in the ios and Android stores.
