CSV User Guide: Phase 2

If you have NOT already imported BOTH patients AND others into Rhinogram, please refer to the CSV User Guide: Phase 1 document.

Importing Patients and Responsible Parties

Once all active “patient” and “other” records have been successfully uploaded into Rhinogram, we may run a second CSV upload to connect patients with their responsible parties.  Please be advised:

This process will NOT create new contacts nor will it AMEND existing contacts.

Please also note that we are only able to match patients with their responsible parties by using unique external IDs. In other words, we are not able to match by name, birthday, etc, therefore external IDs are required in order to link patients with their responsible parties.

We encourage you to use a second, unique CSV file for linking patients with connected parties.

You may leave as many columns in this CSV file as you wish, however, all fields other than toExternalid and fromExternalid will be ignored.

Note: Each connected relationship MUST have a unique row in the CSV file you are importing.  In the example below, we show 1 connected party (Mother Smith) with 2 of her children. The mother’s unique external ID (76543) is placed in the “toExternalId” column to show that she is connected to both Christopher Smith and Bethany Smith.

Note: All connected parties will have a default relationship of “Other”. This can be manually updated in Rhinogram as needed.
