What is the Global Search Bar?

The Global Search bar is located at the top of your Rhinogram screen next to your left hand navigation panel.

How do I search by different identifiers?
By selecting the funnel icon
, a drop down menu will appear that allows you to search by the following criteria:

  • Name - This allows you to render a list of contacts from their First Name, Last Name or Preferred Name entered into the Contact's Profile.

  • DOB - Type a number into the DOB input and watch it automatically format into a date. You don't have to type forward slashes in order for this search function to work.

  • Phone - Search results for phone numbers will show matching phone numbers for all contacts.

  • ID - Members can search by PMS/EHR ID without having to prefix the ID with a hashtag (#). Search results now show matching ID numbers along with Contact names.

  • Email - Search results show matching email addresses and contact names.

  • Tags- This search criteria will display any contact that has been Tagged with the content searched.

Note: The last selection you made while searching will persist until you change it. For example, if you last searched by DOB, the next time you use the global search bar it will default to DOB.

Will a contact’s consent be visible within the search?

If a contact has granted any type of consent, their green identifier badges will display next to their name when searched.

The three types of consent in Rhinogram are:

  • RhinoPay

  • HIPAA

  • Marketing

How do I get to the conversation record of a Contact I've searched for?

When using the Global Search tool, you'll automatically be taken to the conversation record for a contact you've searched for by clicking their name in the search results.

Once you are in the conversation record, you will be able to send a new outbound message. Remember, the conversation will open in the default route for the Channel used to message the Contact.

How do I add a new contact record from the Global Search bar?

After you type the name of the contact you are looking for and nothing appears, you are able to select “Create New Contact” to proceed with adding them into Rhinogram. The search criteria used will also pre-populate in the fields when you begin to add them in.
