How do I connect my Facebook Account to Rhinogram?

A member with Administrative permissions to both Facebook and Rhinogram can setup the Facebook Channel integration. Click here to read how.

How do I send a Facebook Message to a Contact?

In order for you to message a contact using they Facebook Channel, they have to message you through Facebook first. Once they've messaged you for the first time, you can simply respond to their message the same way you would respond to a text message. If your Contact has messaged you with both Facebook and a cell phone, you'll be able to select which Channel you'd like to use at the bottom of the message thread by clicking on From and selecting the correct channel.

My patient messaged my business page. I see the message in Facebook, but not Rhinogram. Why?

Facebook gives various security controls to their users that help the user determine who gets access to their data. If you can see a message inside of Facebook, but not in Rhinogram most likely the user has set their access permissions too high and Rhinogram isn't allowed to access their contact information. Without contact information, Rhinogram isn't able to create a contact or a conversation thread. Our recommendation for those Contacts is to respond to them from within the Facebook application and direct them to text your practice in order to continue the conversation or ask for their number and send them a text.

Can I connect more than one Facebook page to my Rhinogram account?

Yes, if an organization uses multiple Facebook pages they can connect them as separate channels within Rhinogram. This ensures that messages sent or received through Facebook Messenger for any of the connected pages will appear in their Rhinogram account and vice versa within Facebook.

Can I choose where my Facebook messages end up in Rhinogram?

Yes. You can route the Facebook messages to a Patient Message Group or Member, navigate to Settings and select Channels. If you've already setup your Facebook Channel you'll be able to select it and click Edit. Scroll down to routing in order to set the route for these messages.
